STCW Crowd Management and Passenger Safety (Crowd Control)
The STCW Crowd Management and Passenger Safety Certificate (also called Crowd Control Certificate) STCW A-V/2-1&2 is not a mandatory requirement on all yachts, however it is fast becoming a requirement for many positions on large vessels, including for Steward/esses and Chief Steward/esses. As an entry-level Steward/ess, you don’t yet know which vessel you will be employed on, so we do recommend that you complete this STCW qualification prior to joining a yacht.
